I just wanted to send a quick note to all of you and let you know, Lens arrived safely in St. Louis and on time. Steve, Scott, and I went to pick her up and were pleasantly surprised at how well she did for having such a long flight and two stops before getting to St. Louis. I can't begin to tell you how pleased I was to see how well she did and what a great attitude she showed. We gave her some exercise, a chance to stretch her legs and potty at the airport. Her attitude was fantastic. Here she was in a strange environment and she was as calm as can be, very confident in herself, alert, extremely sociable, and very well behaved. She is so clear, alert, and sound.  It seemed like she was greeting old friends. Needless to say, we were all a bit surprised and very glad that she wasn't stressed, nervous or aggressive with new people and surroundings. We would have understood if that were the case.

I now have her at home and she is discovering her new kennel and yard. She's already fetching the ball, bringing it to me and following me around. I don't think the bonding process is going to take long at all. I think you did a great job in matching her up with my desires, especially since I wasn't actively looking at the time. I'm glad I was open to listening about her and got my girlfriend's "agreement" to buy her! I'm really looking forward to getting past the puppies and getting her ready for Spring Trials. I think we can "Rock'n Roll".

I just want to double check on her paperwork and the stud dog's. The only record that came with her was her medical record. I take it the rest will be coming sometime soon. If you could give me an idea as to when the rest of the paperwork will follow, I would really appreciate that. Also, is there anyway you can tell me exactly how far along she is in her pregnancy, when the breeding took place. I'd like to have an idea as to how much time I have to get ready for the puppies, inform my vet, and better care for her during this pregnancy. I bet I sound like a first time dad. I know listening to myself write this note, I do, so have patience with me. I've been thru the kid/baby/teenager thing, but haven't had the puppy experience!!!! If you have any advice you'd like to share that would help make this easier and better for Lens, feel free to share your thoughts.

I left a message with Sue that Ramo made it safely to my house. He is a very nice puppy and just full of himself. He is settling in very nicely and has a nice suspicious side to him (that I like) that will work good for my training. We will start with some young dog defense training next week and I will let you know how it goes.

I just got Nani home and really like her, she is a doll! I was wondering about her scorebook though, it didn't come with her. Also, is it an SVV1 or IPO1 that she has? Also, approx how long is the process to get FCI ped?
