Igor received his BH today and he was awesome.
57 out of 60 points - best in the group by a longshot. It was hot and it was the
first time I made him do the whole routine without the ball and he couldn't have
made me any prouder. The judge complimented us on doing a good job and having a
clean performance and it was about the best feeling in the world. he was very
steady during the temperament test. I know while I was out of sight, the judge
walked by and dropped his clipboard right next to him and I was told he didn't
flinch. Here are a couple photos

I gave him a kiss for you and I think it paid
off because that very same day he tracked extremely well for over 2 ˝ miles
after a suspect shot someone. Niko found the gun used in the offense and
apprehended the subject (who was hiding in a back yard.) Everyone here in
Cincinnati, Ohio is in love with Niko. His size alone has people giving up and
not wanting to fight with us. Thank you as always for what you do. Give Nuky a
big huge for me.

Hi Taunya, I
am just now getting around to getting Slicky registered with the AKC and though
t I would send you a few pictures that we took to send in with his registration
papers. We took these yesterday. I think he is very pretty. I didn't stack him
up all that well but did the best I could. We had a great tracking class today.
I stayed afterward and worked both dogs as the class is mostly lecture. Lucy was
great as always. I hadn't worked Slick in a week and the last time I stayed
close and really worked at keeping his nose to the ground. Wow, he must have
either thought it all over or got charged up watching the other dogs work. He
came flying out of the car, pulled all the way up to the start flag and was on
the track with his nose down. He flew down the track, and was probably too fast
since I had to jog to keep up. He was just as good on the second one we did but
was a little slower which I think is a good thing. New updated photos taken on

Taunya,
I hope things are going
well for you in Europe this summer. I just wanted to drop
you a line to bring you up to speed on Anna. I have been
training her for patrol and narcotics detection, both
aspects in which she is doing well.
On 9/17/2006, I did a
Police K-9 Demonstration at a large AKC event held here in
Ashland, Wisconsin. I brought all three dogs I am currently
working: Trax, a Malinois who is NAPWDA certified for
patrol/narcotics detection, Amos, a GSD I have been training
for patrol/cadaver detection, and Anna. Anna just turned a
year old this month, so we haven't really been pushing her
too hard; however within the last couple of weeks her
maturity and confidence has dramatically increased.
I attached some photos
that one of the attendees had taken and given me. Anna
looked fantastic, especially on her bite work. The one
photo,"Triple Attack", was of a multiple dog tactical
apprehension we have been working on. Trax is on one arm,
Amos on the other, and Anna can be seen coming in for a
really nice back bite. My poor wife (who was the decoy, as
Anna damaged my normal decoy during practice, nearly tearing
his middle finger off) really got a work out that day.
During this attack, she was taken to the ground and drug
around the field for a bit before I outed the dogs. The
crowd loved it, but she was so worn I had to help her get
back up.

for work and he is super social. He loves kids and he has been raised with other
dogs. He is a huge, gorgeous dog who should be excellent for breeding to
increase bone size and pigment. He has very stable nerves. He has Titus on the Mothers side.

Hi Taunya,
I hope this email finds you in good health and good spirits. We received Ares
(Arras) papers a while back, thanks. Arras is a big beautiful dog. We take him
for walks around the island and everybody that sees him falls in love with him.
We've had more than 10 people in here and in St. Thomas wanting to buy him,
but of course we're not selling him, he's our baby! He is friendly but he will
decide who he will let touch him. He is also a great protection dog and is very
close to me. He is very strong and has a heck of a bite. One thing that I've
noticed is that before taking the bite, when doing long distance, he leaps and
takes the bite, just like a panther.
I'm including a picture of him and Luis, he is so beautiful, and I think he
knows it.
